Licensed Professional Counselor, Assistant Clinical Director
As a counselor, I focus on working with adults with ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment issues, relationship issues, and struggling with general overwhelm or burnout. I spent the past decade working with children, adolescents, adults, and their families in both education and mental health settings. My clinical experience includes work in residential crisis, school-based day treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, community-based services, and outpatient counseling.
I find the greatest satisfaction in supporting people in processing their experiences and learning how to better navigate their world. My counseling approach values the importance of individualizing care, focusing on people’s strengths, prioritizing communication, and establishing positive, working relationships. I have a strong interest in wellness and take a holistic approach to therapy. When working with people, I incorporate creative methods to help make the counseling environment fit with each individual and their needs, including utilizing art therapy activities, mindfulness practices, and narrative therapy.

Resident in Counseling Outpatient Counselor
As a counselor, I seek to connect with clients through empathetic listening and to support mental health and emotional balance. In my practice of massage and yoga, I have focused on easing chronic pain and using mindfulness techniques to promote awareness, relaxation, and health. The opportunity to bring this knowledge to counseling allows me to explore the connection between mind and body to promote mental and physical well-being as well as freedom.
The beauty and wonder of nature are a central part of my life. I am eager to learn about people and what inspires them. From there, I hope to encourage people to tell their own stories and help them to find their meaning. For those reasons, I am thrilled to be a part of the Health in Mind team!
